The head of the Emek HaYarden Regional Council, Idan Greenbaum, responded to the two earthquakes that were felt in the north of the country in recent hours.
"And again, in less than a month - two earthquakes in our area in a few hours. When the great earthquake comes, and unfortunately history shows that it will come, none of the decision makers in the State of Israel can say he was surprised and that the warning of the disaster was not written on the wall. There is no real strategy, there is no plan to strengthen buildings. There is no preparation to save lives in the great catastrophe that is imminent," Greenbaum said.
