MK Moshe Gafni (United Torah Judaism) refused to relate to drastic cuts Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman wishes to implement, which will significantly impact haredi families as well as families living around or below the poverty line.
"Liberman, as usual, is attempting to distract attention from his failed management of the Treasury, so evident in the continued sharp rise in the price of living," Gafni said. "We won't play into his hands. Haredim are not the issue here. The real issue is Liberman's incapability of dealing with the issues facing the country, and that is what we will be focusing on."
