The chairman of the Likud faction, MK Yariv Levin, referred to clashes in the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood in East Jerusalem at the faction's meeting.
"The entire Knesset must stand behind the clear demand to allow a Knesset member to carry out his mission and be where he wants to be and monitor from wherever he wants. Even more so in a place where they tried to burn Jews for being Jews. Every Jew has the right to be anywhere he wants in the Land of Israel, and certainly in Jerusalem."
