Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called at the beginning of the Likud faction's meeting to establish a commission of inquiry regarding the police spying on Israeli citizens.
"The spy case on Israeli citizens requires a state commission of inquiry - immediately. Let it be clear: there is no legal order that allows spying on civilians. Because it is impossible to allow for such spying to be done legally, this spying is illegal and must be investigated.".
