David Lega, a member of the EU Foreign Affairs Committee, told Israel Hayom about his own feelings and that of some of his fellow members in parliament following the tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
"Needless to say, we are all concerned. We must use all possible means to prevent a new war in Europe, including - deterring Russia and supporting Ukraine," explained Lega, who is also a member of the EU delegation to Russia."Personally, I am also concerned that if the global community fails to stop Russia at this stage, it may prompt China to take similar steps regarding Taiwan."
