The Labor and Welfare Committee today approved the bill for a second and third reading, and from now on there will be an automatic tax reduction for senior citizens.
The move only applies to those who receive an income guarantee and therefore receive a 100% discount and those who earn less than the minimum wage and receive a 30% discount, and only from the age of 70.
