MK Ram Shefa welcomed in an interview with Galei Tzahal the publication of regulations stating that offenses of self-use of cannabis will become administrative offenses that will not be registered in one's criminal record.
"There are almost 2 million different recreational cannabis uses, we should start by not chasing after them. The transition to fines is not positive in my eyes - but it is definitely a good step in the right direction, because the political reality does not allow full legalization," Shefa said.
