Abarbanel Hospital moves to Ichilov: "It has been neglected for years"

Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz announced the transfer of Abarbanel Hospital to Ichilov Hospital.

"There has been neglect for many years of the mental health sphere. I toured psychiatric hospitals and what I saw was not simple at all: overcrowding, uninhabitable infrastructure and lack of standards. Ignoring these problems led to direct harm to mental health patients who were invisible to decision makers."
