The Minister of Internal Security, Omer Bar-Lev, referred to his decision to establish a committee of inquiry into the police espionage case.
"Let it be clear that the committee, governmental or state, will investigate not only what has been published, but also what has not yet been published. We will examine whether political factors were behind the hacking of Gantz, Saar and other politicians' phones.The event is still at its beginning, and at its end we will reach the truth. We will eradicate corruption and preserve democracy. This is a commitment," Minister Bar-Lev tweeted.
