The Calcalist newspaper reported that the Pegasus software was also implanted in the phones of residents of Judea and Samaria ahead of the evacuation of communities.
"Pegasus extracted unlimited information from mobile devices. Sometimes it remained in digital format, sometimes it was printed and filed in a 'target file'. Entire lives of civilians - private secrets, economic, personal and social information - were exposed to police. Without supervision and oversight," the investigation said.
