President Isaac Herzog hosted a ceremony today in which senior figures in Israel's workforce, including union leaders, labor court judges, and the Economy Minister, signed a joint pledge to promote equal opportunity for employment in Israel.

First Lady Michal Herzog commented: "No man or woman should be discriminated against or less protected in their workplace because of their mother tongue, origin, or inclinations. Discrimination should not be part of the labor market, and to change that state of affairs, we need cooperation - of the state, of the public, and of the unions. This ceremony is not only impressive but necessary. We should make things change, and I'm sure we will"
