Prime Minister Naftali Bennett addressed the controversy surrounding the Citizenship Law.

"Over the next day, we will be trying to reach a wording that is agreeable to everyone. There is no real reason it should not pass. There will be no party line, as agreed upon by the majority of the government."

"I agree with the Foreign Minister that this is a law that should have been passed a long time ago, and that has already won the support of most of us. It is a pity that it has gotten blown out of proportion, "he said.
