The police hotline received reports of an out-of-control truck on Road 4 near Ra'anana.
When they arrived at the scene, they noticed the truck on the sid of the road but was protruding out in such a way as to pose a threat to the other drivers.
During the inspection, the 54-year-old truck driver, a resident of Petah Tikva, was suspected of drunk driving. The results of the drunk test showed a result of 1410 mcg of alcohol (26 times the amount allowed for a driver of this type).
Due to the seriousness of the offense, the driver was arrested and the police prosecution intends to file an indictment against him. In addition, his license was revoked and the truck was disabled and seized.
