The director-general of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Nachman Ash, referred to the fifth wave of the coronavirus in an interview with Galei Tzahal.
"Hopefully we will start to see a significant drop in the number of serious patients, but it will take time. The drop will be slow and it will probably take several weeks. We have seen this in previous waves as well," Ash said.
