Prof. Galia Rahav, director of the Infectious Diseases Unit at Sheba Hospital, addressed in an interview with Galei Tzahal a concern about the B.A.2 strain.
"This strain is spreading even faster than the Omicron, in the last week we have discovered about 400 cases. But it does not cause a different illness and probably the immune response to it is very similar to the Omicron," she said.
