Prof. Ash: BA.2 may be more contagious than original Omicron strain

The Director-General of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Nachman Ash, referred in an interview on 103FM Radio to the BA.2 strain of the Omicron.

"It is in Israel, we estimate that it has already reached hundreds of Israelis. The big fear is that it is more contagious than its brother, the original Omicron. On the other hand, it does not cause a more serious illness, most likely the illness is similar to Omicron," said Ash.
