Bill to cancel levy on employment of foreign workers approved

The Knesset plenum approved the bill to abolish the levy applicable to the employment of foreign workers in the various industries in the economy.

Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman tweeted on his Twitter account, "This is historic news for many industries in the Israeli economy. The abolition of the levy will save business owners tens of thousands of shekels and will lead to lower prices for consumers as well."
