MK Orit Struck of the Religious Zionist party paid tribute to Esther Pollard, who passed away.
"Esther Pollard, an exemplary woman, a woman larger than life, whose love, devotion and determination penetrated the walls of the prison and brought Jonathan back to life, to freedom, to the land of the living. A woman who did not shy away from hardships, who experienced so much suffering - has left us, but she will merit to be buried here in the land of life. Her wondrous personage will continue to accompany our lives. May her memory be blessed."
