The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court today convicted Yaniv Adam of committing tax offenses, according to Adam's confession as part of a plea deal.
As part of the arrangement with Adam, it was agreed that he would plead guilty to submitting false information to the authorities, and the parties will petition for an agreed penalty of 6 months of community service and a fine of NIS 100,000 in addition to after settling the outstanding debt with the tax authority. Arguments for punishment and sentencing will be heard at another time.
Adam is a defendant in the "Defensive Shield" case, along with Oded Shachnai, Gal Hirsch, and Michael Binyamini.
