Dr. Erez Barenboim, director of Assuta Ashdod Hospital, spoke in an interview with Galei Tzahal about the overcrowding at the hospital.

"We are worried that we will not be able to provide adequate medical care, we work with very few staff and the situation is unsatisfactory. We have more than 50 patients in the wards and we are at the height of the epidemic - at the moment there is no talk of a decline," Barenboim warned.

He added: "We have received additional units for intensive care. Hopefully, the current situation will make it clear to the country's leaders that the health system needs help - we are stretched to the limit, we can not treat the population this way."
