Edna David, head of the Teachers' Union, criticized the Minister of Education in an interview on Reshet Bet.
"There is a great deal of disappointment and deep distrust of the education minister, who runs the ministry without taking into account the teachers - who have been carrying all the outlines for two years. She has forgotten them," David said.
She said, "We did not demand the cancellation of the new outline, we asked for another week when the tests would be distributed to run the outline calmly. The best thing for students and teachers is to get to school, hug and teach, but we did not bring the corona and teachers are not guilty here."
In the new outline students from nursery school and regular school are to take an antigen test every Sunday and Wednesday. They will only be permitted to attend classes after a negative test, and will not be denied even if they came into contact with the virus. If they are unvaccinated, then they will need 5 days quarantine.
