MK Yaakov Litzman's (UTJ) attorneys have commented on the plea agreement signed with AG Avichai Mandelblit.
"After a long and thorough hearing that was held with an open mind and no preconceptions, most of MK Yaakov Litzman's claims were accepted. MK Litzman has agreed to confess to one unconscionable action as part of his agreement with the court."
"MK Litzman's actions in that matter were in response to a request he received. He did not know the petitioner personally and had no personal motives or affinity for the matter. Throughout his years of public service, MK Litzman has worked for the general public and the population, including providing a special response to public inquiries without discrimination and in accordance with the law," the attorneys added.
