Rafi Saar, the mayor of Kfar Saba, attacked the decision of the Israel Railways to close the Sokolov and Ra'anana South train stations.
"The scandalous conduct of Israel Railways, which did not even bother to notify residents using train services in advance and in an orderly manner of the expected shutdown from today, is a new record in inefficiency. Some residents heard about it last night but some had to hear about the sudden closure this morning and were late for their various appointments."
