Israel Police in cooperation with soldiers from the Bikah brigade have apprehended four weapons smugglers from east Jerusalem, including a woman in her forties, following a car chase near the town of Beit Shean.
The smugglers were traveling in three separate vehicles and were finally arrested after police erected a blockade. 53 weapons items were found in the vehicles, including 9 pistols, 10 Kalashnikov rifles and 4 M-16 rifles.
