MK Itamar Ben-Gvir (Religious Zionism) responded to Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman's remarks against the Young Settlement forum.
"Minister Lieberman's obtuseness is heartbreaking. The right to electricity is a basic right according to the Supreme Court ruling and is closely linked to the right to life and health. Even those who can't pay for it are no longer cut off from electricity, despite their debts. It should certainly be made available to the pioneers who are the vanguard of our nation."
MK Ben-Gvir added: "The evil and detached government prefers to supply electricity to criminals in the Negev, but ignores the settlers living in sub-conditions, in the cold and rain, in order to protect the country."
