The Labor and Welfare Committee has approved for the second and third reading the amended wording of the Quarantine Allowance for Self-Employment Act.
At the request of committee chairman Efrat Rayten (Labor), the state will provide compensation for time in quarantine to the self-employed at the rate of NIS 570 per day, to be calculated as of December 21, 2021. Self-employed persons who have gone abroad as part of their work will also be entitled to compensation.
