The Minister of Religious Affairs, Matan Kahana, voted in favor of a committee of inquiry into the submarine affair.
"In recent months, I have delved into the issue. From acquaintance with the world of strategic procurement in the IDF, I have come to the conclusion that there are things in the submarine affair that deserve to be investigated in depth. These things concern the sanctity of Israel's security."
