Nine people were injured in a fire that broke out in an apartment this morning in east Jerusalem.
The fire is located in an apartment on El Batted Street in the Beit Hanina neighborhood. Nine family members, of them five children, were in the apartment," said Fire and Rescue spokeswoman for the Jerusalem District, The Jerusalem Post reported.
The family members were evacuated to the hospital with various injuries.
Police are investigating the incident.
