The director of the Geological Survey, Prof. Zohar Gvirtzman, was asked in an interview with Galei Tzahal about the connection between last night's earthquake and the one that occurred last month.
"These are two systems that are not related to each other, but we are monitoring both things. We are taking 'our' earthquakes more seriously because if a strong earthquake occurs there then there could be great damage done in the north."
