MK Michal Rozin (Meretz) responded to the approval of the Citizenship Law in the Ministerial Committee for Legislation.
"An appeal to the opposition to promote MK Simcha Rotman's citizenship law is a breach of faith for the government. The law voted on today is not the one that Meretz supported," Rozin said. "To this day, the Minister of the Interior has not respected the principles of the outline upon which we agreed. I support those ministers that voted against the law. We will continue to work for a law that upholds the principles of our agreement."
