Foreign Affairs Minister Yair Lapid has appealed the decision of the Ministerial Committee on Legislation to approve the citizenship bill proposed by MK Simcha Rotman (Religious Zionism).
The appeal means that the coalition does not support Rotman's law, only the law proposed by Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked which was approved last week by the Ministerial Committee on Legislation.
