Prof. Hagai Levine, chairman of the Association of Public Health Physicians, tells Galei Tzahal that the isolation policy may have been correct at the time, but now it does not provide an answer, in his words.
"Nowadays, a sick child with a negative antigen test - can learn, but a healthy child who has been exposed stays at home. This situation needs to change and focus on those in the risk group."
