Following heavy rains in the Gush Dan area and the intrusion of rainwater and surface runoff into the union's collection systems, contaminated water was discharged from the emergency exit of the Reading station in Tel Aviv to the sea.
The Ministry of Health warns the public against bathing on the beaches of Bat Yam, Tel Aviv and Herzliya, and areas surrounding these beaches, until normal sea water results are achieved and until the removal of the warning.
