Prof. Galia Rahav, a member of the corona cabinet advisory team, commented in an interview with Galei Tzahal on shortening the isolation for those verified with corona to 5 days.

"They found that after 7 days only 6% are still contagious, so it was sensible risk management [to shorten isolation to 7 days]. To shorten to 5 days - I'm really not sure. You have to get the data on how much the person is infected after such a period of time," said Rahav.
