The Shas faction responded to the High Court ruling on Kollel funding.
"The welcome decision of the Supreme Court to repeal the decree of Kollels this year is a sign of disgrace to the government and another testimony to the arbitrary and abusive manner of Finance Minister Lieberman against the wives of the students."
The faction said in a statement, "It has been proven that Lieberman acted out of political revenge and eagerness to harm Torah scholars, when even the minimum preparation time was not given to them. We hope this ruling will pave the way for the final repeal against other injustices against women that are in the workforce. "
