The chairman of the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, MK Gilad Kariv (Labor Party), responds to the Arab riots in the Negev following the planting of the JNF trees.
"Preserving state lands is a role of the government. Stopping violence is also an important role of the government. Another important role of the government is to find smart solutions to problems, through dialogue and cooperation. The previous government did not do any of these things in regards to the Negev. The current government will do them using common sense, " he said.
