Last night, the members of the State Commission of Inquiry into the Meron Disaster met with the Minister responsible for the Meron Hilula, the Minister of Religious Affairs, Matan Kahana, and with the commissioner appointed on his behalf, Zviki Tessler.
It was reported that at the end of the meeting, Kahana instructed the commissioner to promote the formulation of the Hilula outline in a way that would allow for it to proceed optimally while maintaining public peace and on the basis of the recommendations of the commission of inquiry.
