MK Itamar Ben Gvir requests a special debate in the Knesset following the attack on Haim Mizrahi and allegations of police violence against demonstrators and worshipers.
In the explanatory memorandum to the debate, which was also joined by MKs Miki Zohar and Amichai Chikli, it was stated, among other things, that: "In addition to attacking Mizrahi, there are also serious complaints about police violence during the Hiloula of the Baba Sali. Moreover, a media recording was published in which a police officer directed dispersive measures towards people who were not connected to the protest and were walking on a narrow street, hitting one protester on the head."
