The Ma'ale Eliyahu yeshiva in Tel Aviv has asked the MDA to open a COVID-19 testing center on its grounds to help minimize backlog at other testing centers.
The station will be operated by yeshiva students who have been trained by MDA. The station will operate on Henrietta Szold Street in Tel Aviv.
Alon Fischer, CEO of the Ma'ale Eliyahu Yeshiva, commented: "Due to the congestion at other testing centers, we thought about how to take part in the national effort against COVID-19. We invite everyone to be tested to prevent the virus from spreading."
