4,761 tickets against drivers for life-threatening offenses

Traffic officers wrote 4,761 tickets last week against drivers who committed life-threatening offenses on the road.

1,120 tickets were recorded for cell phone use, 885 tickets for speeding and 4 for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
