The Coastal District Police Marine Police Team, the same team that rescued Navy Officer Captain Ron Birman, who survived the fatal helicopter crash, arrived this morning for an exciting first visit to Rambam.
The police officers - Corporal Erez Yehuda, Maj. Gen. Yariv Malka, Sergeant Major Dudi Alkabetz and Lt. Col. Eran Azrad recounted with the officer what happened at the point of rescue and filled in gaps in information about what had happened from the moment they joined him in the dark on the tragic night.
