Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked arrived this morning to visit the Baba Sali's grave site in Netivot together with the Mayor of Netivot, Yeh'iel Zohar, in preparation for the celebration that is taking place today.
"Following strict safety requirements for the traditional celebration of the Hiloula of the late Baba Sali, which takes place every year, the Interior Ministry volunteered and transferred NIS 700,000 so that the celebration will take place and according to all security requirements. The mayor undertook to conduct this complex event. I hope and believe that those praying here will follow the safety and corona guidelines," she said.
