The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office today filed an indictment in the city district court against Yigal Yanai (69), former director-general of the Rosh HaAyin municipality, for fraud and breach of trust.
The indictment was filed as part of a corruption case in several local authorities in which an indictment was recently filed against Gabi Magenzi, a businessman and contractor, for committing bribery, fraud and breach of trust and receiving anything fraudulently under aggravated circumstances.
The indictment against Yanai was filed as part of a plea deal, subject to court approval, according to which Yanai will admit and be convicted of receiving tens of thousands of shekels from Magenzi during his tenure.
