The government today approved the proposal of the Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, and the Minister of Internal Security, Omer Barlev, to declare the Special Police Unit a national-operational unit for the fight against terrorism.
The Prime Minister's Office will allocate about NIS 10 million in 2022 to strengthen the unit's capabilities.
