The dishwasher law of MK Meir Porush was unanimously rejected by the Ministerial Committee for Legislation.
Justice Minister Gideon Sa'ar commented that the law has a budget cost of more than NIS 200 million.
Sources close to Porush told Israel National News that "imposing a tax on disposable utensils is directed against the Haredi public. There are many things that can be taxed, but this government has opaquely chosen to abuse the weak and the middle-class minister does not even understand this."
