Justice Minister Gideon Sa'ar participated in a discussion in the Ministerial Committee for Legislation that discussed compensation for Meron victims and asked to reject the bill.
'Last week I proposed to the Minister of Finance a proposal for a compensation outline. In my proposal I seek to bring this as a government decision and not as legislation. The postponement of the law by three months is for the purpose of examining the outline I proposed to the Minister of Finance.
A government decision on the matter should be brought before the claim for compensation by the families.
