This morning the kosher reform will take effect.
As part of the first phase of the reform, any religious council will be able to provide supervision services anywhere in Israel. In exactly one year, the reform will be fully completed, with the opening of a fully-fledged training market for private corporations, which will provide inspection services in place of the religious councils.
