A significant police present has closed the road to the Samaria town of Homesh. Dozens of vehicles were stopped on the way there while making their way to the Homesh Yeshiva for a Melaveh Malkeh (traditional festive meal on Saturday night). The organizers of the event say that the visitors are now preparing to march to Homesh on foot.
Last week, the army blocked more than 80 vehicles at the same point, engendering a hundreds-strong protest march against the military cordon.
