MK Itamar Ben-Gvir (Religious Zionism) responded to the threat made by Islamic Jihad leader Ziad Nahala that if the administrative detainee Hisham Abu Hawash, who has been on hunger strike for more than a hundred days, dies in custody, his organization will view it as Israel having executed the prisoner.

"This threat from a leader of a terrorist organization should only encourage Israel's overwhelming response against any terrorist that dares to threaten the State of Israel. I for one hope that the hunger strike continues, until there is one less terrorist for the State of Israel to worry about," Ben-Gvir added.
