IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi has notified the Supreme Court that he rejects the compromise proposal regarding the return to service of Major Gilad Franken, a military police officer who was involved in the suicide case of IDF soldier Niv Lobton.
Kochavi wants the Supreme Court to overturn the District Court's ruling preventing the officer's dismissal in order that his dismissal should remain in effect.
